Based in the Northwest Chicago suburbs, the LJC brings together handcrafted elements and thoughtfully selected ingredients, sourced from beloved local farmers and makers, as well as favorite finds discovered while living across the country. Meet Caitilin, founder of the Little Joy Company

Hi! I’m Caitilin—designer by training, foodie at heart, and the founder of The Little Joy Company. After years in the corporate world and then time at home raising my kids, I felt the urge to create something that blended creativity and my life long love for amazing food.

In the summer of 2024, I finally turned years of hosting and feeding loved ones into something more official—and the LJC was born. It’s my way of spreading joy through thoughtful, beautiful food experiences that bring people together. I’ve got a serious sweet tooth, a love of anything with truffles, and a passion for turning a simple meal into something worth remembering.

I can attest that Caitilin makes the most beautiful and most delicious boards I’ve ever seen or sampled! She has an artist’s eye and a chef’s taste and I love that she goes out of her way to support local everything! Seriously the best! Thank you Caitilin!

I have worked with Caitilin and ordered 2 charcuterie boards…She took our preferences and really made such a thoughtful and stunning board each time with high quality ingredients and impressive presentation. One of the boards I requested was for a bachelorette party. Caitilin asked questions about the theme of the bachelorette and made the board completely on-theme with the addition of florals and other thematic elements that matched the whole party. It was such a hit that people still talk about it months after. The Little Joy Company will always be our go-to for hosting events or for date nights in!
